NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 

(30th November, 2025)

1. Today is the 1 st Sunday of Advent, the new Liturgical Year. To prepare meaningfully for Christmas, please prepare an Advent Wreath and light the Advent Candle in your home. Try to come for Holy Mass daily, as we prepare for the beautiful Feast of Christmas.

2. We encourage everyone to read the Holy Bible daily. Starting Monday, 1st December, we will begin reading Chapter 10 “The Book of Jeremiah” one chapter each day. Let us be faithful to our daily Bible Reading.

3. There will be a Charismatic Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 3rd December at 7.30p.m. in the Church.

4. Senior Citizen’s and Bereaved Members will meet tomorrow/today in the Church after the 9.30a.m. Mass.

5. Parish Pastoral Council meeting will be held on Sunday, 7th December, at 10:30a.m. in the parish hall. Council members, please be present.

6. Friday 5 th December is the First Friday of the Month. Half Hour of Adoration at 7.00p.m. followed by Mass.  

7. St. Pauls Parish Youth Group organized an E-Waste Drive” till 14 th December. You are requested to deposit your E-waste articles in the containers kept in the church compound.

8. God’s Word 2026 Daily Reflections for Lectors and Cantors are available in the Sacristy Parish office for Rs. 100/= each.

9. During the season of Advent, the Church organizes a Campaign Against Hunger and Disease. “A BOX MARKED ADVENT CAMPAIGN” is placed near the Altar. Kindly drop in your almsgiving envelopes in the box.

10. There is a home crib contest and a zonal crib contest. Please take an entry form and submit the same by 22nd December. Youth are requested to help.

11. There will be an “Evening of Carols” on Saturday, 20th December. All Choirs who sing at Sunday Mass will present two carols each. Units who wish to perform may also enlist in the sacristy. There will be a snack stall and sale of other goodies.

12. Those who wish to Subscribe to the Examiner may contact the Examiner Desk at the earliest.

13. An Advent Calendar – one per family is being distributed. Please collect a copy after Mass.

14. Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 42,880/-
