NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 

(17th August, 2025)

1. Today is the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Also celebrated as Prison Ministry Sunday in the Archdiocese of Bombay. The Theme: “Fallen humans may rise again on Wings of Prayer”. Those who wish to join as Prison Ministry volunteers or want to support the Prison Ministry in any form, kindly refer to the Prison Ministry poster put up on the notice board.

2. Next Sunday will be observed as Justice Sunday. The Theme: “A CALL FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE AND THE COMMON HOME: ECOLOGICAL CONVERSION, TRANSFORMATION AND RESISTANCE TO FALSE SOLUTIONS.”

3. We encourage everyone to read the Holy Bible daily. Starting Monday, 18 th August, we will begin reading Chapter 22 of “The Book of Proverbs” one chapter each day. Let us be faithful to our daily Bible Reading.

4. Charismatic Prayer Meeting, on Wednesday 20 th August at 7.30pm in the Church. 

5. Those who wish to contribute to the Clergy Fund, via cheque or cash, may contact the Parish Office for details, regarding the contribution. This fund goes towards the upkeep of the Clergy home fathers.

6. Parents of Confirmation and First Communion Students are requested to update their family Book at the parish Office at the earliest. Other parishioners as well are requested to update their Family Book too during office hours.

7. The Shrine of Don Bosco Matunga invite you to be the part of Association of Mary Help of Christians Group, and participate in faith enrichment programmes. For further details, kindly refer the notice board.

8. Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 40,050/-
