NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 

(28th September, 2025)

1. Today is the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Thanksgiving Day.

2. We encourage everyone to read the Holy Bible daily. Starting Monday, 06th October, we will begin reading Chapter 20 of “The Book of Isaiah” one chapter each day. Let us be faithful to our daily Bible Reading.

3. The Holy Rosary is being recited at Our Lady’s Grotto, daily, at 6.30p.m. till 31st October. On Sundays after the 5.30pm Mass.

4. The Charismatic Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 08 th October at 7.30pm in the Church. 

5. Today, Sunday, is observed as Thanksgiving Day across the Archdiocese. The Blessing of New Corn will take place at the 8:00 am Mass. After the morning Masses, we will share breakfast together. Please bring some breakfast and hand it to the catechists when you arrive for Mass. We thank God for all His Blessings to us and our families and world. Please have a shared meal at home today.

6. Parish Pastoral Council meeting tomorrow/today, Sunday, 5th October, at 10:30 am in the parish hall. Council members, please be present. 

7. Mission Sunday will be celebrated on 19th October. It is a reminder to all of us about our call to preach the Word of God by example. Collection is “EARMARKED” for the Missions.  Kindly be generous. Our Sunday School will have a sale of snacks on Mission Sunday.  Those who wish to donate snacks for the sale please contact the parish office, or any of the catechists.

8. There will be sale of sarees which were used for Mama Mary during the Nativity Novenas, on Sunday 19th October at all Masses.

9. Our Parish is organizing a Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Karjat on 21st October for parishioners only, at a subsidizes amount of Rs. 150/- per head. You may register at the parish office during office hours. Preference will be given to those parishioners who have not been for the earlier pilgrimage to Karjat. Those people should register before 11 th October, 2025.

10. The F.I.A.M.C. Bio-Medical Ethics Centre Goregoan East is pleased to announce the online Basic Counselling Course-2025, commenced on 4 th October 2025. This course is designed to equip participants with foundational counselling skills and is ideal for: Catechists, Coordinators, Family Cell Members, Youth, Lay people. Course Fee Rs. 1000/- For more details, kindly refer to the course flyer available on the notice board.

11. Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 52,060/-

This collection will be kept for our parish

Community Welfare Fund Collection for September was Rs. 1,32,450/-

The disbursement was Rs. 19,057/-

The SSVP Collection for September was Rs. 35,810/-.
