NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 

(1st February, 2026)

1. Today is the 4 th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

2. We encourage everyone to read the Holy Bible daily. Starting Monday, 2nd February, we will read Chapter 15 of “The Book of Ezekial” one chapter each day. Let us be faithful to our daily Bible Reading.

3. Parish Pastoral Council meeting tomorrow/today Sunday, 1st February, at 6.30p.m. in the parish hall. Council members, please be present.

4. Monday, 2 nd February is the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord. Candles will be blessed at the 6.30a.m. Mass. It is also observed as Day of Consecrated Life. We pray for our Convent Sisters and all Men and Women Religious.

5. Tuesday 3rd February is the Feast of St. Blaise. Blessing of the throat will be done at all Masses.

6. Charismatic prayer Meeting on Wednesday 04 th February at 7.30p.m. in the Church.  

7. Friday 6th February is the First Friday of the Month. Half Hour of Adoration at 7.00p.m. followed by Mass.

8. Next Sunday, 8th February, Bp. Allwyn D'Silva will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to our young candidates at the 9.30am Mass. Please keep these candidates in prayer.

9. World Day of Marriage will be observed on Sunday 8 th February. Vows will be renewed at all Masses for Married couples. A special liturgy will be celebrated at 5.30p.m. followed by a fellowship at 6.30pm in the St. Paul School Hall. Please attend the Masses as a couple.

10. Fellowship coupons are available in the parish office, at Rs. 200/- per person. Last date to collect the coupon is 5th February.

11. Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 53,330/- 

This collection will be Kept for our Parish.

The SSVP collection for the month of January amounted to Rs. 32,650/-
